Newcastle city centre is only 8 miles away and there is good transport links available. |
| Also welcome are walkers/cyclists wishing to make the most of the many coastal routes/paths in the area including Hadrian's Wall Trail, and Northumbrian Coastal Walk. Surfing in the area is also recommended at Tynemouth Long Sands. The Metropolitan has washing/drying facilities available for walking/cycling and surfing equipment and a dry storage area that is safe and secure. |
